Chkaya was reelected President of the Popular Union of Occitania

Occitanian President Babou Chkaya was reelected President of the Popular Union of Occitania for his 6th mandate of six months by the deputies.

Yesterday, his coalition wins the general election with 4 seats on 6. His own party, Esquerra! (left in Occitan/Catalan language) nevertheless lost a seat during this election.

The real winner of this V°general elections is Vicent Branchadell, President of the Federal Republic of Three Flowers who wins two seats with his anti-capitalist party, Montserrat, member of the Chkaya’s coalition.

The president will begin his mandate in a fragile balance, he is in the parliament majority, but a minority in his own coalition.

The future government should be announced in the evening.
